Having just prayed that prayer, you have now become a ‘born-again’ child of GOD. 

As a result, GOD, The HOLY SPIRIT, the 3rd person of the Trinity has now taken up residence inside of you John14:16.  HE will begin a process of renewal and regeneration, bringing you to wholeness, and holiness Titus 3:5-7.  HIS job with you is to conform you to the image of our LORD as GOD’s child:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.   Romans 8:28-30 KJV

HE will teach you, bring all things to remembrance, and help you understand the Bible John 14:26.  Talk to HIM, for HE is always with you.  HE is your comforter: John 14:16-17   Willingly submit to HIM, and let HIM guide you.  You are now considered a ‘babe’ in CHRIST Matt 11:25; Luke 10:21; 1 Cor 3:1; 1 Pet 2:2; .  And babies need to be cared for.  First you need to be fed, with the Word of GOD.  All  Bibles are not alike.  As Bibles are translated, GOD’s word is changed.  You need to read as close to the original as possible: KJV, NKJV, ESV, or NASB, specifically a study or reference Bible.  GOD speaks to us literally, directly, through HIS word, the Bible, so reading GOD’s word is paramount in your Christian walk.  If you haven’t read the articles in this digest, do so.  They will explain a little more in depth what I’m referring to.  Lookup these verses: Prov 2:1-6; 2 Tim 2:15, 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12.  These are but a few that stress the importance of GOD’s Word, but you get the point.

GOD can’t speak to you if you have no idea what HE is talking about.  The HOLY SPIRIT will teach you all things.  Often we limit what GOD is willing and able to do in us because we put HIM in a box, and call HIM out only when we need HIM to do things our way.  Remember ‘our’ way doesn’t work, that why we came to GOD, rather HE drew us to HIM John 6:37-39, 44-45; 10:14 .  Yes, the Bible is different, yes, its long, yes there are some names that you will have trouble pronouncing, but no one can ever tell you that when GOD speaks to you for the very first time, it isn’t the most thrilling thing that has happened in your life, to have the Creator, the King of the Universe, Almighty GOD, who is your Heavenly FATHER speak to you, just you @ that moment.  And it will happen: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3 ASV  So, read your Bible, everyday.

  “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8 ESV 

Spend time with GOD, in reading HIS Word, in prayer, and in Worship.  HE is LORD of your life, now spend time with HIM.  HE desires that.  Next, find a Church that teaches from the Bible.  How do you do that you ask?  Pray.  Your salvation didn’t catch GOD off guard Eph 2:8-10.  Ask HIM for direction with this.  Chances are HE ‘has’ been talking to you for sometime now.  You might even have an idea about a Church you would like to visit.  No doubt, The LORD has or will speak to you in this area.  HIS methods takes many form, search your heart for the answer.  The Church you attend must preach the Gospel message, that JESUS is the Son of GOD, sent by GOD to die for the sins of all mankind.  They must teach about redemption thru the Blood of JESUS, the Atonement, Justification, Resurrection, etc…  In other words, they must teach the ‘Oracles’ of GOD see pg 2, The message of JESUS, salvation, not fluff.

You will know if a Church is grounded in the Word of GOD if they are not afraid to talk about the ‘blood of JESUS.  They should teach about The ‘Kingdom’ of GOD, Salvation, Grace, The Fruit of The SPIRIT. Ask The LORD to give you discernment, and to show you truth about the situation.  Believe, in faith, and HE will.  The members should be reading along from their Bible as the Pastor preaches his sermon.  He     should reference the Bible often, and admonish the members to follow along.  This is crucial because yes, he is a man of GOD, however, you need to discover truth for yourself. The Church must teach about salvation, and invite those to accept the gift.  The HOLY SPIRIT is within to guide you.

Do you know any Christians, family member, or friends?  No doubt, someone has prayed for you.  Your salvation is accompanied by someone’s prayers on your behalf.  Inform them of your salvation coming to the faith.  They will be overjoyed and will welcome you to the family.  Fellowship with other Christians.  You will find that your old life will be calling out to you, big time.  This time in your walk is crucial because of this one point.  Evil abounds!  It’s real.  Just as GOD is real, so is satan, demons.  They will stop @ nothing to take you down with them:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as  shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, Ephesians 6:10-18 ESV

They hate all mankind, and there time here in our lives is short.  The voices you may hear in your mind that tell you, it’s ok to do things that you know aren’t of GOD, don’t listen. The Bible tells us to: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 ESV   Don’t fear, because you have already overcome them through Your Saviors blood: 

And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan,  the deceiver of the whole world–he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown  down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his CHRIST have come, for the accuser of our  brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they  have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they  loved not their lives even unto death. Revelation 12:9-11 ESV

There will also be trials and tribulation.  Just look in the Scriptures, it is full of Saints that have gone before us who have triumphed in these trials Heb 11 chapter talks about the Heros of the Faith.  If anyone tells you that now because you are a Christian your life is set, they are lying, don’t believe it.  The Bible tells us: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Romans 8:35 ESV, Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12 ESV, furthermore Our LORD has said: “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 ESV 

Look to The LORD as your strength, for HE lives HIS life through you.  Immerse yourself in the things or GOD, programs, music, books.  Go online and GOOGLE: ‘A Compact Guide to the Christian Life – NAVPRESS.  Buy it, it will explain a lot.  If you have cable, good, look @ Christian programming.  Also, GOOGLE: SkyAngel.  Christian IPTV (internet protocol TV & Web TV) .  Superb Christian programming for cheap.  Websites to get you started: e-sword.net (free Bible  software highly recommended),  Grace To You: www.gty.org (this is an excellent site with free resources that covers the gammut of all of Christianity with sound biblical teaching from John MacArthur, I highly recommend this site, as it is my favorite), gotquestions.org, williamtyndale.com, ankerberg.com,  Intouch.org,  WordPictures / CrossTV .  All these resources provide an authentic view of what Christianity if suppose to be about, especially Grace To You, Ankerberg.com & WordPictures / CrossTV.  You will also discover your own as The HOLY SPIRIT leads and guides you into all truth:

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. John 16:13 ESV

Love, Worship, and Praise The LORD your GOD.  Always give praise to HIS name, in everything you do with thanksgiving to GOD for life and the many blessings HE has given you Eph 5:4, 20; Col 1:12, 3:17; 1 Tim 2:1; Heb 13:15; .  Worshiping GOD privately and collectively with other believers is crucial to your relationship with your Heavenly FATHER,  The LORD JESUS CHRIST, and The HOLY SPIRIT.  You are now a Child of the Most HIGH.  GOD is your FATHER, and JESUS is your LORD and Savior, and The HOLY SPIRIT lives in and dwells with  you .  You have been removed from the kingdom of darkness and placed into the Kingdom of Light.  You have been given Eternal Life.

Ok. You will be fine, for you are in great hands.  You are in GOD’s hands now.  Talk to HIM, HE is waiting.  HE had been waiting, patiently for this day.  Today, the first day of your salvation, HE foresaw this, waiting to welcome you home.  Remember That GOD loves you with an everlasting love.  Your salvation is yours, no one else’s.  The LORD will love you, nurture you, guide you, help you, and sometimes chastise you, as a FATHER who loves you will.  GOD Bless!
