While conducting research for an article regarding the New Living Translation of the Bible, I came across a rather insightful article by Bruce M. Metzger. It was posted on a site called Bible Research, By Michael Marlowe. It appears to have a creative commons license, so I am posting it here as well. In it, he give a brief, albeit concise summary of the cult/sect. Featured is the view Jehovah’s Witnesses have and espouse concerning Our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST, and aberrent view I might add. We as Christians must always be prepared to give a response for the hope that is within us 1 Pet 3:15-16.

Core Doctrine: Jehovah’s Witnesses – What Do They Believe
My Brother’s and Sister’s in the faith, no doubt you have been approached by a Jehovah’s witness cult member. Maybe you have been approached on the street, or @ your front door, or know of someone who has. What was your response to them? Most of us are @ the least annoyed from their intrusion into our lives. But other’s see this as an opportunity, to witness to a witness.
Members caught up in this cult need our help, they need to be exposed to the truth of Scripture. Witnesses indeed are cult members, that have a devotion to The Watchtower Organization in which it is readily accepted that adherance to this Organization, along with other aberrant views comprises a person’s complete salvation…………….
