This site was prayerfully created to serve as a site to support, teach, exhort, and edify the Body of Christ, in the following spirit in mind:

“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”  Acts 17:11

Articles will be posted as they become available.  I welcome comments to all posts.  I am most concerned with my fellow brother’s and sister’s having their eyes opened to what is going on around them in the world, and more importantly in HIS BODY, The Church.  There is much deception around, currently in many forms throughout The Church, and you need to be aware so you are not deceived.  The Bible is our source of truth, so you need to be in it daily, prayerfully, expectantly, with awe and reverence for these words are the very Words of Our FATHER, and our Savior The LORD JESUS CHRIST, authored by The HOLY SPIRIT.  This is The LORD’s site, not mine.  I serve HIM.  May my efforts Glorigy HIM!

Who Am I?

Some of you, may want to know, who put all this together.  My name is Zelda F. Williams.  And, like some of you, a Child of GOD, saved by HIS Grace, and Mercy,  called by HIS name.  A Christian.  If you have read browsed through this site, you have gained a sense of who I am, where I stand on the Word, and what I believe.  We all have come, to the ‘faith’, in a myriad of circumstances.  Mine is no different.  I ’grew up’ with ‘religion’ on the SouthSide of Chicago in a predominately Baptist neighborhood with a smattering of Catholics here and there.  I was raised in a Baptist home, and attended Catholic school.  I first accepted The LORD as Savior @ the age of 13.  During my college, and early adult years, I primarily attended non-denominational churches.

Throughout my years as a believer, I would fall away from the Faith, and then subsequently re-commit my life to Christ.  In 2006, through a series of unfortunate events, I recommitted my life to The LORD permanently (testimony to be given @ a later date).   Professionally, I have a background in the area of computer instruction to children and adults, and Law Enforcement where from 1999 until 2006, I served as a police officer for the City of Chicago.  I relocated from Chicago to Washington in July of 2006, where I have committed myself to GOD in HIS service, using the gifts HE has given me in love to serve my brothers and sisters in Christ.  I stand amazed, and in awe of Our GOD.  Love is one word I can actually use, because HE first loved me.

What Do I Believe?

My core beliefs, and doctrinal stance: The London Baptist Confession of Faith (A.D. 1689), Regarding The Word of GOD: The Chicago Statements on: Biblical Inerrancy With Exposition, Biblical Hermeneutics, and Biblical Application.  This was the statement that launched the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy, an interdenominational joint effort by hundreds of evangelical scholars and leaders to defend biblical inerrancy against the trend toward liberal and neo-orthodox conceptions of Scripture.  The Statement was produced at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago in the fall of 1978, during an international summit conference of concerned evangelical leaders.

It was signed by nearly 300 noted evangelical scholars, including Boice, Norman L. Geisler, John Gerstner, Carl F. H. Henry, Kenneth Kantzer, Harold Lindsell, John MacArthur, John Warwick Montgomery, Roger Nicole, J.I. Packer, Robert Preus, Earl Radmacher, Francis Schaeffer, R.C. Sproul, and John Wenham.  The ICBI disbanded in 1988, its work complete. The Council ultimately produced three major statements: biblical inerrancy in 1978, one on biblical hermeneutics in 1982, and one on biblical application in 1986. A published copy of the statement may be found in Carl F. H. Henry in God, Revelation and Authority, vol. 4 (Waco, Tx.: Word Books, 1979), on pp. 211-219.

The Intents and Purposes of This Site?

This website is dedicated to, and in the instruction of the inerrant Word of GOD, relying upon The HOLY SPIRIT’s teaching, guidance, employing sound biblical hermeneutical interpretation and exegesis.  Each and every article is presented to you being SPIRIT directed, prayerfully considered as to content, relevancy, and structure to provide instruction. 

To serve as a foundation, in fostering The Saints, those Called, in the promotion of adopting a love, a knowledge, and obedience to GOD, and for HIS Word.   Our GOD, and Great Teacher, The HOLY SPIRIT will open HIS word to you, as you expectantly engage in study of the Scriptures.  HE will reveal to you, the heart of Our FATHER, and Our LORD and Savior, JESUS CHRIST, as the Bible is GOD’s love letter to HIS children, detailing HIS desire for HIS Children (man) to regain fellowship with their FATHER, and to give us a glimpse of man’s history as told by HIS Creator.  Please, let this site assist you in your journey.  I welcome all comments.  We are all Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST, and we may disagree from time to time, however there is truth, and it is not, I repeat is not relative.  There is only 1 truth in this creation, which is, GOD’s truth.  And how blessed, and how happy are we to know it:

It is my prayer that what you study here will give you pause to think, and to ask The LORD to reveal truth, and to guide you along your journey with HIM.  It is my hope that you will be challenged by what you read, to search and discover truth for yourself.  Knowing the truth as Our FATHER, LORD, and HOLY SPIRIT intended will deepen your communion with HIM.  It is a process, it is a journey, paved in love, tears, happiness, anger, a bit of drama, anguish, joy, and revelation.  A journey we must take, one you want to take, that will validate your belief that GOD does indeed exist, strengthening your faith.    With whom you will spend eternity knowing that HE cares and that HE loves you.  Zelda
